Sonia Cheadle has established a reputation for creating subtle, timeless and highly distinguished jewellery during twenty years of independent practice. She creates exceptional contemporary classics that clients can wear every day.

Sonia established her practice as a designer maker in 1995, after graduating with a BA Hons in Jewellery and Silversmithing. She has since expanded her academic experience as both student and teacher. She has taken masterclasses on mounting and setting skills at the prestigious Goldsmiths Centre in Clerkenwell, and her book, ‘Mounting and Setting Stones’, was widely lauded and has become an industry staple.

Her innovative, understated jewellery brings together traditional materials, such as diamonds, gold and platinum with unexpected additions such as beadchain, magnets and carbon fibre.

Alongside her themed
collections, Sonia also produces unique artworks. Her work has won numerous awards, including the coveted GCDC (Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Awards) Gold for her artwork ‘Four Seasons Brooches’. Sonia exhibits at the highly regarded Goldsmiths’ Fair in London annually.
